Mary Ellen (Meyer) O'Toole

Mary Ellen O’Toole passed away peacefully February 12, 2023 in Cary.  She was born March 10, 1933 in Chicago to Louis and Helen Meyer.

Mary Ellen is survived by her children, Michael (Linmarie) O’Toole, Tim (Christine) O’Toole, and Lorrie Stone (Greg Liddell); ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald O’Toole and Abe Iglitz; daughters, Eileen Bianca, and Kathleen O’Toole; and grandson, Brian O’Toole.

Mary will always be remembered for her love of sports and followed that passion as a physical education teacher and coach.  She loved the Chicago Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks, and Arlington Racetrack.

A memorial visitation from Mary Ellen will be held from 10am until family eulogies at 11:45am on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory. 419 E. Terra Cotta Avenue, Crystal Lake, IL.
