Alex L. Spiegel

Alex L. Spiegel, 81, ascended to our Lord on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022.  Alex was born in Queens, New York on July 28, 1940, the son of Alexander Sr. and Agnes Spiegel.

Alex is survived by his loving wife Leanne of 59 years.  He was the devoted father of Jill (Ken Wenz) and Tim (Cindy) Spiegel.  His grandchildren Kyle and Andrew Wenz, and Emily, Alex, and George Spiegel held a special place in his heart.  His brothers Paul (Doris), and Stephen reside in Lakeland, Florida.

Alex was employed at Northrop Grumman for 25 years. In addition, he drove a school bus for Palatine Dist. 211 for 17 years.

Al’s passion for ultimately clean cars was well known.  He also enjoyed watching soccer, which he officiated, and golf.

A private family burial is planned, and a Celebration of Life will be forthcoming.  Memorial donations in Alex’s memory may be made to JourneyCare Foundation.
