Alice Lynn Giunchedi (nee Ivan)

Alice Lynn Giunchedi, 89, of Lincolnshire passed away peacefully on May 23, 2024. She was born on January 12, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to Sylvester and Matilda Ivan.

Alice was a graduate of Augustana University in Chicago, where she earned a degree in nursing. Alice worked as a registered nurse until she was 70 years old.

In 1957 she was united in marriage to Kenneth V Giunchedi, together they celebrated 64 beautiful years of marriage until his passing in 2021.

She was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Alice is survived by her children Jennifer Ryan, Jacqueline (Scott) Rogers, and Jonathan (Sarah) Giunchedi; grandchildren, Kristen and Kevin Ryan, Lauren and Eric Rogers, Joshua and Katherine Giunchedi.

In addition to her husband, she was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Ivan and son-in-law Mark Ryan.

Memorial Visitation will be Friday, June 7th from 10:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at Lutheran Church of Atonement, 909 East Main Street, Barrington, Illinois 60010.
