Allan R. Cichon

Allan Richard Cichon, 76 years old, passed away February 8, 2022 at his home in Barrington, Illinois. He was born in Chicago to Louis and Betty Jane Cichon.

Allan is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeannette (née Duffin); son, Richard; grandchildren, Jillian and Lauren; siblings, Ron (late Karen), Sharon Huber, Jim (Millie) Cichon, John (Pattie) Cichon, and Lynn Marie (Joel) Johnson, Jeff Cichon, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis & Betty and brother, Robert Cichon.

Al had quite the green thumb; he especially loved gardening tomatoes. He was an excellent carpenter and enjoyed creating furniture and building things at home. Al was a proud member of the United States Navy. He was an avid pilot and loved spending time with his grandchildren, Jillian & Lauren. Al brought warmth and comfort to every room he walked into. He will be deeply missed by friends and family and all who knew him.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, March 6th, 2022 from 9:00 - 11:00 am at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, Illinois; a short memorial service will be at 11 AM.
