Allen J. Dehnert

Allen J. Dehnert, age 82, of Lake Barrington, IL passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, with his loving family by his side.

Allen was born in Harvey, IL on March 28, 1943. He was a mentor to many incoming salesmen and is remembered for his great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Allen is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Dehnert (nee Conlan); his sons, Jeff (Susan) and Brad (Michell) Dehnert; grandchildren, Patrick (fiancée Cait) Dehnert, Katie (Jake) Dehnert, Kelly Dehnert, Bailey Dehnert, Mason Dehnert, and Cooper Dehnert; great-grandson, Johnny Denhert; and sister, Carol Dehnert.

He is preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Bernice Dehnert; and brother, Donald Dehnert.

A memorial visitation for Allen will be held on Friday May 9, 2025, from 9:30am until the time of service at 11am at Barrington United Methodist Church, 98 IL-62, Barrington, IL 60010.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Allen’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
