Amy Hebel

Amy Hebel, 51, of McHenry, passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2022. She was born on May 4, 1971 in Sterling, IL to Kenneth and Cindy Rude.

On August 20, 1994 Amy married Michael Hebel; they celebrated 28 wonderful years of marriage and were blessed with one daughter, Brianna. She worked for Follett as a vendor relations representative for over 20 years. Amy was a frequent Autism advocate, where she volunteered her time to different Autism organizations. She enjoyed adult coloring books, planners and enjoyed reading when she could. Most of all she enjoyed people.

In addition to her husband and daughter, Amy is survived by her father, Kenneth Rude; siblings, Kate (the late Michael) West-Keyes and Chris (Lisa) Rude; nieces and nephews, Blair, Ethan, Lexi, Gabriella, Layla, Henry, Ashley; her furry companions, Cubby and Socks; many loving friends and extended family also survive.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cindy Rude.

Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL. Interment will be private.
