Angela “Angie” Spino Eccleston, 61 years of age, and resident of Barrington, IL, and Longboat Key, FL, passed away on October 1, 2025.
Angie was born on May 30, 1964, in Chicago, IL, to the late Merildo and Vanda Antonacci. She was raised in River Forest, IL, and moved to Chicago to begin her career, first as a nurse. She then received her MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and continued her career in healthcare management and administration.
She spent fourteen years at Rush University Medical Center, culminating her career there as Director of Marketing and Communication. She then was selected as a Partner at the international consulting firm of Leo Burnett Co. in Chicago. Her healthcare industry clients were based in both Chicago and Sarasota, Florida.
A loving wife, parent, mentor, and friend, Angie’s infectious, high-energy personality was cherished and will be remembered by many. She was warm, welcoming, fun-loving, caring, hardworking, generous and known for her humor, sharp wit, and style. In her free time, she enjoyed socializing, spending time with family, boating, shopping, and decorating, especially for the Christmas Holiday. Angie was a woman of strength, resilience, and perseverance. She was always present and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Angie is survived by her loving husband Jim Eccleston; Jim’s four children, John, Ray, Lindsey, and Lauren Eccleston; her cherished Yorkshire Terrier Lily; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 5pm-8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 West Main Street, Barrington, IL 60010. A second visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 9:30am until a 10:30 Mass at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela Street, Barrington, IL 60010. Burial to follow at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery, 8600 N. Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714.
