Ann C. Geighes

Ann C. Geighes, 83, of Lake Zurich, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on April 14, 1943, in New Castle, PA to the late Russell and Margaret Cansler.

Ann devoted more than 40 years of her life to the banking industry. She took great pride in her career, but nothing brought her more joy than the time she spent with her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she treasured every moment shared with them.

Ann also had a special love for pugs and shared her home and heart with many of them throughout the years.

Ann is survived by her daughters, Margi (Scott) Kopper of Mount Prospect, IL and Cathy (Zac) Simkowski of Kildeer, IL; grandchildren, Andrew, Morgan and Lucas Simkowski, Payton, Brooke and Aiden Kopper; her siblings, Judy (Mike) McCauley of Marion, KY and Jim (Lynne) Cansler of Ocala, FL and by her loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Joan Cansler and brother, John Cansler.

A celebration of Ann’s life will be held privately by her family.
