Anna Malewicka

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Anna Malewicka of Crystal Lake, Illinois on December 23, 2022 at Evanston Hospital, at the age of 38 years old. She was born in Bialystok, Poland on July 20, 1984, a daughter of Andrzej and Jadwiga (Lapinska) Malewicki. She married Martin Garcia on July 28, 2014 in Woodstock, IL.

She is survived by Martin, her three boys; Brandon Lopez, Bruce and Vincent Garcia, mother; Jadwiga Malewicka and her husband Kazimierz Niznik, her sister; Kasia Prantalos (Malewicka), brother-in-law; Stavros Prantalos, brother; Tom Malewicki and sister-in-law Andee Malewicka (Roll), brother; James (Jimmy) Heard III and her stepfather James (Jim) Heard II. Many nieces and nephews; Claudia Petit, Stathi, Julia, Eleni, Achilles and Hercules Prantalos, Harper and Emerson Roll, Caden and Lukasz Malewicki.

She is preceded in death: by her grandfather Waclaw Malewicki and grandmother Celina Lapinska.

Visitation will be held on January 6, 2023 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home in Crystal Lake, IL. Funeral Mass will be on January 7 at 11 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Algonquin, IL., with visitation prior to mass at 10 AM. Burial will take place in Crystal Lake Memorial Park following the mass.
