Anne Baker

Anne Baker, 69, of Algonquin passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2023. She was born on April 7, 1954 in Chicago to Telesfore and Mary Kerulis.

Anne met the love of her life, Thomas Baker, at a bowling alley; on April 8, 1978, they married in Chicago. They celebrated 45 beautiful years of marriage and were blessed with 2 daughters, Valerie and Jill. Anne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She loved her community as well; often being told she was the glue that held her neighborhood together.

Anne will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Tom; her beloved daughters, Valerie (Josh) DeSousa of Cary, IL and Jill (Jackson Toomey) Baker of Oak Park, IL; her treasured pug, Ralph Baker of Algonquin, IL; her cherished grandchildren, Owen and Brie DeSousa; her dear brother John (Mary) Kerulis; and by many loving family, friends and fur-babies.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Patty Kerulis.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 4 PM until the 7:30 PM funeral service at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment will be private.
