Anne (Rubin) Jaster

Anne Jaster (nee Rubin), age 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 25, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

Anne was born in New York, NY on December 26, 1953 to Samuel and Sylvia Rubin. She greatly enjoyed crafting and craft shows as well as cooking and baking for her family, who she loved above all else. Despite being disabled with multiple sclerosis for over 15 years, she never lost her optimism and love of life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Anne is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Michael Jaster; her loving children, Rebecca (Michael) Jaster of Crystal Lake, IL, Daniel (Laura) Jaster of Cincinnati, OH, and Rachel (Christopher) Jaster of Charleston, WV; cherished grandchildren, Leopold and Helena Jaster; and brother, Joel Rubin.

Preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Sylvia Rubin.

A visitation for Anne will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. A second visitation will take place at the funeral home the following morning from 9am until the time of service at 10am. Burial to follow at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine, IL
