Anthony "Tony" Daniello

Anthony “Tony” Edward Daniello, 85, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 12, 1941 in Chicago, IL to the late James and Emily Daniello.

Tony shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Diane, whom he married on October 6, 1973. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and countless cherished memories. Tony adored his family and held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He treasured every moment spent with them and was immensely proud of each of them.

A proud Chicago sports fan, Tony was an avid White Sox and Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed cheering on his teams. He also loved golf, playing cards, and listening to jazz music. He took great pride in working outside, especially caring for his yard and keeping his lawn looking its best. Tony also enjoyed his regular breakfasts with his “coffee buddies,” where good food, conversation, and friendship made for some of his favorite mornings.

Tony was a hardworking man who spent 30 years working for Baxter Healthcare delivering medical equipment, where he was often recognized winning many awards along the way. Before joining Baxter, Tony was a business owner, owning a couple of service stations in Cary and Geneva during the 1970s.

Above all, Tony will be remembered for his big heart, his love for his family, and the warmth he brought to the lives of those around him.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Diane L. Daniello; children, Tony Daniello Jr., Doreen Daniello, Vince (Roxann) Daniello, Tina (Evan) Connelly, Angela (Peter) Rode; grandchildren, Alexis and Nick Daniello, Nathan and Jack Connelly, Taylor, Madison and Brooklyn Rode; sister, Nancy Thomas. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Daniello and infant daughter, Karen.
