Anthony “Tony” Morrisroe passed away peacefully Dec. 16, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 14, 1953 in Ireland to Patrick and Molly Morrisroe.
Tony was a Cook County Deputy Sheriff for over 25 years. He loved fishing and spending time with his family.
Tony is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kay; children, Molly, Dylan, and Ryan Morrisroe; brothers, Thomas (late Maureen), John (Pat), and Brendan (Leta) Morrisroe; and sister, Rosaleen (Paddy) Conlon. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Frances (Peter) Phillips.
Visitation will be 3-8pm Monday, December 21 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake Cook Road) Barrington. Prayers will be said at 9:15amTuesday, December 22 at the funeral home followed by procession to St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 845 W. Main St, W. Dundee, for mass at 10am. Interment will be private.
