Arthur S. Anderson

Arthur S. Anderson, of Algonquin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at the age of 88.

He was born December 1, 1937 in Chicago, the son of the late Arthur, Sr. and Margaret Anderson.

Arthur was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He cherished the simplicity of enjoying lake time on his boat in Winneconne, WI. Above all, Arthur’s family was the center of his world; he spent many joyous days with his daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Christina (Chris) Holiday and Johnny Stonehouse; his great-grandchildren, Cole, Celine and Chandler; and his sister, Betty Lou Manso.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen; and his daughter, Sandy Stonehouse.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
