Arthur J. Dunham

Arthur J. Dunham, 77, of McHenry, passed away peacefully December 12, 2022.  He was born July 25, 1945, in Chicago, to Harvey and Edreina Dunham.

Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Alf), for over 56 years. Father of Patrick (Francine) and Christopher (Karen) Dunham. Proud grandfather of Debra, Daniel, Dylan and Paige Dunham.  Dear brother of Kathy Matthies; and brother-in-law of Donald Alf.  Also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Art proudly served in the U.S. Navy and the Coast Guard Auxiliary.  Upon leaving the Navy, Art went on to work for IBM Corporation, where he started as a technician on the 360 mainframes, progressing up through the ranks to Service Manager and Project Manager, ultimately retiring after a 30+ year career.  Art and Nancy loved to travel the world and Art was an avid SCUBA diver, having attained the PADI Open Water Dive Instructor certification.

A memorial visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, from 2:00 until 4:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich.
