Barbara Jo Biscomb

Barbara Jo Biscomb (nee Wyse), 77, of Woodstock, Illinois passed away peacefully on October 5, 2023. Barabara was born September 14, 1946, in Harvard, Illinois to the late Robert and Pauline Wyse.

Barbara is survived by her children, James Nolan, Michelle “Missy” (Deborah Nattrass) Nolan, and granddaughter, Paige. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 21 years, William Biscomb who passed in 2016.

Barbara was a long-time resident of Crystal Lake, Illinois and graduated from Crystal Lake Central High School in 1964. She worked as a receptionist for medical offices throughout the years whilst raising her children. Barbara was a loving, doting mother and grandmother and enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing, shopping, traveling, and socializing with her many friends and family. Some of her favorite times were her lunch & shopping outings with her best friend, Lynne Faulds Anderson. A very special time in life for Barbara was when she became a grandmother.

Barbara spent her last several years being well taken care of by the wonderful staff at Valley Hi Nursing Home in Woodstock, Illinois. They became family to Barbara and her family.
