Barbara Joyce Grabarek, 82, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2022. Barbara was born April 17, 1940 in Berwyn, IL to the late Marie and Joseph Slomka.
After retiring as a registered nurse, in Arlington Heights, Barbara and Stanley spent their free time together fishing and enjoying life in Spooner, WI. Barbara is survived by her children; Janet (Allen) Gozzola, David (Lynda) Grabarek, Thomas (Troy) Grabarek, and Vicki (Thomas) Ortlieb; seven grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, and siblings, Robert Slomka and Janet Slomka-Grashoff.
Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Stanley Grabarek who passed away in 2008.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 4 from 3-9pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 South Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.
