Barbara Rezutko passed away peacefully July 29, 2024 in Lake Zurich. She was born on July 9, 1951 in Toledo, OH to William and Jean Skelly. 

Barbara was a dedicated registered nurse for over 40 years, proudly working at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago for her entire career.

She is survived by her children, Joseph (Sarah) Rezutko, Kathryn (Scott) Nelson, and Jean (Jamie) Simko; grandchildren, Timothy and Lincoln Nelson, and Xavier and Jacob Rezutko; her brother, Tom (Karen McNaught) Skelly and sister-in-law, Paula (Elio Custic) Rezutko-Custic.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, David in January 2024 and by her parents.

Visitation will be 9 AM until the funeral mass at 10 AM, Thursday, August 8, 2024 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Burial to follow at Fort Sheridan National Cemetery.
