Beatrice E. Swanson

Beatrice E. Swanson, 90, of Cary, IL was born on August 19, 1930 and passed away surrounded by her family on April 24, 2021. She was the loving mother of Beatrice Swanson, Catherine “Lynn” (James) Flauter and Kimberly (John) Stokes; dear grandmother of Beth Harms; and cherished sister of Anne Josetti.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Catherine Lally; her husband, Paul L. Swanson; her children, Paul Swanson, Jr. and Allison Swanson; and her beloved 6 siblings, Edward, Pete, James, Thomas, Catherine and Mary.

Beatrice will be remembered for her love of her children’s pets, dance, beauty, strength, creativity, fun nature and independence.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL. On Friday, April 30, a funeral mass will be held at 10:30am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake, IL. Interment will be held privately for family at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
