Bernice Ann Solan

On October 25, 2022, Bernice Ann Solan passed away after a brief illness. Bernice was born January 7, 1940, in Chicago Il, she was 82 years old to the late John and Ann Karpiel.  A resident of Northbrook Il, and Summerlin NV. Bernice was the mother of five boys. She always provided support and love for her family. She and her husband Jerry worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their kids. She would proudly boast about all five of her boys, her eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Jerome (Jerry) Solan, who passed away on December 21, 2021, after a long battle from Parkinson’s. Bernice is survived by her children; Jerome (Mary Helen) Solan, Michael (Tina) Solan, Paul (Kathleen) Solan, Brian (Deborah) Solan, Kevin Solan; grandchildren, John (Michelle) Solan, Robert (Jessica) Solan, Emily (Connor) Chelmecki, Michael Solan Jr, Matthew Solan, Kristen Solan, Brooke Solan, Scott Solan, Connor Solan, Allison Solan, and Lauren Solan; and great-grandchildren, Addison, Ella, Henry, and Madeleine.

The family would like to invite friends and family to join them for a going home Mass for Bernice and her husband Jerry. The memorial Mass will be Saturday December 3, 2022, at 12:00 pm atSaint Francis de Sales Church on 135 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich IL. 60047.
