Betty Dennis

Betty Dennis of Barrington Illinois, loving wife and mother, died peacefully on her 92nd birthday on Friday, September 2, 2022.  Betty was born September 2, 1930 in Chicago, IL to the late Hobart and Ruth Carmichael. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John C. Dennis, and her sister, Rita Walker.

Betty earned a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics from Northwestern and Purdue University where she met John. They built a life together with many friends and generations of loved ones.

Betty is survived by her children; Diana (Walter) Graf, Robert Dennis, Cynthia (Tom) Klimmeck; six grandchildren, David, Courtney, Max, Charlie, Patrick, Michael, and great grandchildren; Winnie, Griffin, Rowan, Rusty and a baby girl due in November.

There will be a private memorial service celebrating Betty’s life and legacy for family and her caregiving friends.
