Betty M. Johnson,81, of Niles, MI, passed away on Thursday, February 16,2012, in Barrington, IL.
She was born on March 17,1930, to Elmer and Bonita Decker in Niles, MI.
Betty is survived by her loving children, Robert (Gail) Johnson of Spring Grove, IL, Catherine (Michael) McKee, of Whitefish Bay, WI; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Jennifer) Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Kristin (Gustaff) Schmid, Melissa (Brent) Tischler, Katie (Michael) Tacchella; great-grandchildren, Izzy Johnson, Addee Johnson, Holly Schmid, Brianna Schmid, Ava Tischler, Ryan Tischler, Jacob Tacchella, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Robert C. Johnson, and parents.
A memorial service will be held at 2p.m. Est., Sunday, February 26,2012, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 302 Cedar Street Niles, MI 49120.
