Bill Roewer

William A. Roewer, of McHenry, passed away December 31, 2022 at the age of 77.

He was born March 6, 1945 in Crystal Lake, the son of the late Fred and Sophie Roewer.

An avid fisherman, Bill enjoyed the time he spent at the McHenry Dam, going fishing and drinking coffee with his brothers and friends.

Bill is survived by his sons, Billy and Mark Roewer; his children by marriage, Edie Bogdan and Bobby Evertt; his grandchildren by marriage, Brandon and Melodie Bogdan; his siblings, Ronald, Fred, Betty and Dennis Roewer; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Roewer; and brothers, Vernon and David Roewer.

A memorial service for Bill will be held at a later date.
