Barbel was all about family. Beloved mother to her 4 children and Oma to her 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Generous in life and soul. Landscaper. Painter. Photo album enthusiast. Reader. Baker. She had many amazing stories and her laughter could fill a room and everyone’s hearts. Those who knew her well will remember her love and never forget her big personality.

Friends are welcome to join the visitation with Barbel's family on Thursday, January 15th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 202 E Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194.

The service will begin at 11:00 a.m and will be followed by an urn burial following the funeral service at the church cemetery.
