Bruno J. Marczyk (Sunny), age 86, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.  Bruno was a graduate of Weber High School and was active in Weber’s alumni relations. He continued his education at Loyola University where he earned a BS in Management. Early on, Bruno found a love of baseball; his favorite team, the St Louis Cardinals. It was around  this time, Bruno realized that he had a talent for the game and in his early years spent many weeknights and weekends playing in softball games and tournaments throughout Chicagoland. Years later, after starting a family and moving to the suburbs, he shared his love and talent for the game as coached his sons and many a Little Leaguer in Barrington.

Bruno and the love of his life, Marlene shared a love of travel and visited many regions of the US tying most trips to a visit to a family member living nearby. Whether it was baseball, soccer, volleyball or gymnastics, Bruno would often be seen on the sideline or in the stands supporting his grandchild’s team.
