Carlo Russo

Woodstock,Visitation for Carlo P. Russo, 82, will be held on Monday, February 15th, from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte 176), Crystal Lake. He will lie in state on Tuesday, February 16th, from Noon until the time of Mass at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Margaret Mary Church, 111 South Hubbard Street, Algonquin. Interment to follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary. Born March 25, 1927 in Marion, IL, he passed away on February 13, 2010 in Woodstock. He was a retired Sergeant of 26 years from the Chicago Police Department, a member of the C.P.D. Sergeants Association, and the Italian American Police Association. He is survived by his beloved children Christine (Bill) Gorski and Nick Russo; dear brother Paul (Shirley) Russo, and many other extended family members. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Angela nee Rendino, and his parents Nick and Kathryn Russo nee Ullo.
