Carmelo Pinzon Jr.

Carmelo Pinzon Jr. passed away peacefully July 27, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born February 21, 1944 in Manati Puerto Rico to Alicia and Carmelo Pinzon, Sr.

Carmelo enjoyed bowling, billiards, boating and spending time with family and friends. He was fun loving, cheerful and upbeat with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Carmelo is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lori; children, Chamaine (Jerry) Bennish, Nicole (Dann) Ingebritson, and Ryan (Amanda) Pinzon; and grandchildren, Zachary and Madelin Bennish; Andrew, Evan and Lexie Ingebritson; Victor and Valerie Krzyzak. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmelo Sr. and Alicia Pinzon; son, Marc Pinzon; brothers, Jorge and Edwin Pinzon; and beloved dog Cooper.

Visitation will be from 10am until the funeral service with military honors at 12pm Thursday, July 31 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Burial will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park, Crystal Lake.
