Carmen Caprio, Jr.

Carmen Caprio, Jr was born April 21, 1951 in Chicago to Carmen Sr and Rose Caprio.  He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Barrington June 2, 2021.

Carmen had a larger-than-life personality to match his larger-than-life heart.  He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend that will be missed by many.

Carmen is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Pamela; children, Tori (Rolando) Padillo, Griffin (Adelaide) Caprio, and Danielle Caprio; grandchildren, Brandon, Logan, Miles, and Luciano; siblings, Richard, James, and Barbara Caprio; and aunt, Lorraine Danielson.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be 3-9pm, Sunday June 6 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am, Monday, June 7 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street (not Ela Road), Barrington. There will be visitation at the church from 9am-10am.  Interment will be private.
