Carol M. Emrich, 73, of Crystal Lake was born July 7, 1941 in Chicago and passed away peacefully Saturday, November 1, 2014 in Lake Zurich, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was an avid gardener and photographer. She enjoyed watching all sports, especially golf, the Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren whom she adored.
Carol is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Kristi) Hoff and Deanna (Cory) Oliver; grandchildren, Charlie, Casey, and Sydney; sisters, Jean and Patricia; brother, Michael; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ethel Jacobi and brother, William.
Memorial visitation will be 9am until the time of the funeral service at 11am, Thursday, November 6 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake. Burial will take place in Elm Lawn Cemetery.
