Catherine "Kay" (Cleary) Breslin

Catherine R. Breslin passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on September 13, 2022.  She was born September 4, 1937 in New York City to John and Elizabeth Cleary.

Kay’s loving spirit and passion for music and movement lives on through  her family;  husband of 63 years, Michael; children, Catherine (Jeff) Grennan, John (Sandy) Breslin, Patricia (James) Haney, and Mary Kay (Ken) Nichols; grandchildren, Mia, Carly, Matthew, Joseph, Genevieve, Emma, Noah, Eliza, Finn, Kayla, Wade, Owen, Eldon, Breslin, and River; and brother, John Cleary.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim and Jerry Cleary; sister, Ellie; and grandson, Michael.

Memorial visitation will begin at 9:30am until the funeral mass at 10:30am Saturday September 17 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 W. Palatine Road, Inverness.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.
