Charles D. Dickens, 84, of Lakemoor passed away on May 20, 2017. He was born in Naoma, West Virginia on November 3, 1932 to Pete and Dessie (nee Clay) Dickens.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Clara (nee Cook); children, Jeff (Carol) Dickens of Lake Zurich and Maribeth (Ken) Eckhaus of Lakeland, GA; grandchildren, Carrie (Randy) Stotz, Markus and Daryl Eckhaus; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Chloe and Mason Stotz.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; infant children, Drema Gale and Barbara Lavern; and siblings, Roy, Clyde, Billy, Vibert, Pete Jr., and Barbara.
Services for Charles will be held privately. He will be laid to rest at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.
