Chris "Chili Childers was born March 16, 1971 in Kansas and passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 27, 2013.
Chris was a general contractor who built creative, artistic homes. He was stubborn, had a heart of gold, and could light up a room with his smile, piercing blue eyes, and boisterous laugh.
Chris is survived by his loving wife Heather Dinelli-Childers, daughter Allison, son Christopher Brant Jr., brother William (Heidi) Childers IV, father William Childers III, step-mother Dayle Childers, grandmother, Betty Childers, uncle Doug Childers, and step-sisters Lisa Hoffman, Michelle Helm.
He was preceded in death by his mother Bonnie (nee Brovold) and his grandfather William Childers Jr.
Visitation will be 3-9pm Thursday, January 31 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake, IL. Funeral service will be 11am Friday, February 1 at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
