Christine Dembinski

Christine Joan Dembinski, of Crystal Lake, passed away July 23, 2025 at the age of 83.

Christine was born July 5, 1942 in Germany, the daughter of the late Walter and Kay Wieczorek.

Christine worked for 18 years as the business manager of the Crystal Lake Public Library.

Christine was married to Alfred for 56 years, and together they built a life filled with simple joys until his passing in February 2025. She loved going on long drives with Alfred, listening to Barbara Streisand and whatever old country music Alfred had playing. She enjoyed her crossword puzzles, her books, her long drives with her husband, but above all, she loved her family.

Christine and Alfred moved to Crystal Lake in 1973, where they raised their family. She is survived by her children, Joseph Dembinski and Andrea Dembinski; her grandchildren, Marc and Annabel; her sister, Harriet Kowalski; and her brother, Walter Wieczorek.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake.
