Christine E. Galasinski

Christine E. Galasinski, of Crystal Lake, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 at the age of 78.

She was born July 9, 1947 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Edmund and Evelyn (nee Kozdron) Ortyn.

Christine will be dearly remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her ability to light up a room and make anyone feel like her friend. Above all, Christine was a devoted wife, mother, and beloved Nana.

She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

In addition to her husband of 59 years, Michael, she is survived by her daughters, Kristine (Kai) Reinhard, Karolyn (Mark) Zielinski, and Kathryn (Mike) Stephens; her grandchildren, Michael and Madeline Torres, Keith Reinhard, and Dexter, Trevor and Cooper Zielinski; and her siblings, Teri Duesen and Gregory Ortyn.

Friends are welcome to visit with Christine’s family on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake.
