Christine Ann Hoellen

Christine Ann Hoellen, 72 of Elgin, Illinois, passed away at her home on November 24, 2025.

Born March 19, 1953, she was the beloved daughter of Edgar & Margaret (nee Wright) Hoellen. She was the cherished older sister of Carol Hoellen of Barrington, IL and a friend to many throughout her life.

For the past five years, Chris worked as a bus driver for Barrington Transportation Company, where she was admired for her dedication. Chris loved animals, music, reading, movies, and sports.

Chris will be remembered for her generosity, wonderful sense of humor, and her unwavering love and support for her family and friends.

She is survived by her younger sister, Carol, who will forever treasure her memory, and the close bond they shared.

A celebration of Christine’s life is being planned for summer of 2026. 

In honor of her love for animals, the family requests donations be made to a local animal shelter or rescue organization.
