David “Adam” Dragosin, age 48, of Barrington, IL, left this world peacefully on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Rush Medical Center in downtown Chicago. Born on June 2, 1976, in Uniontown, PA, Adam was the cherished son of the late David Paul Dragosin and Cynthia Ann (Coburn) Dragosin.
Adam was a man of many talents and passions. Whether he was smoking a brisket, cheering on the Steelers, or crafting something with his hands, he did everything with remarkable skill and passion. Following in his parents’ footsteps, Adam made a name for himself in the world of video technology. His journey began helping his father with freelance video projects and soon expanded to designing and building video projection displays for major conventions and, most memorably, for global concert tours. Adam had the rare opportunity to support an array of renowned musicians through his work with Nocturne Video, Solotech, and Night Hawk Video. His job took him all over the world, but what he valued most were the connections he made and the people he met along the way.
It was during one of these international tours that Adam met Lisa Bruno. They married in 2012, embarking on a wonderful journey together that included the joy of raising two beloved sons. Adam’s greatest joy was being a father, a role he embraced with boundless love and dedication.
Adam is survived by his adoring wife of 12 years, Lisa Bruno; his wonderful sons, Bruno and Marco; and his supportive sisters, Kim (Phil), Colleen, and Crystal. He was a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews: Celina, Ashton, Delaney, Michael, and David.
Adam’s absence will be felt profoundly by all who knew him.
