David Westley Scranton

David W. Scranton passed away at his home December 16, 2022.  He was born November 4, 1935 in Tulsa, OK.

David graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1953 and attended the University of Tulsa and the University of Oklahoma.  He played professional baseball for the Milwaukee Braves from 1955-1959.

Following his baseball career his work included VP of Operations at AM International 1961-1991; VP of Central Regional Operations for MAN Roland 1991-1996; and VP of Operations for A.B. Dick Corp 1997-1999.

David is survived by his wife of 30 years, Coral Lee Scranton; daughters, Stacy Lynn Colby and Cathy Elizabeth McClish; grandchildren, Journey, Brittany, Mike, Felicia, and Megan; and two great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Marty and Juana.

In accordance with David’s wishes no services will be held.
