Dennis J. Holm, Jr.

Dennis J. Holm, Jr., of Crystal Lake, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

He was born March 19, 1992 in McHenry, the son of Joyce and Dennis Holm, Sr.

Dennis had many talents and interests and was willing to try his hand at most anything. He had a love for working on and enjoying cars. Dennis began his college education at St. Louis University and finished with an Associate degree from Harper College. He further completed one year at UIC for chemical engineering.

Above all, Dennis was well-loved by those who knew him and enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends.

Dennis is survived by his mother and father, Joyce and Dennis, Sr.; sister, Rebecca Holm; niece and nephew, Isabella and Lionel Arredondo; grandfather, Thomas Lerner; and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Betty and Irvin Holm; maternal grandmother, Mary Lerner; and adopted grandmother, Linda Mensching.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 4-8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake. Visitation will continue the following day, Wednesday, July 6, from 8:30-9:30am at the funeral home with procession to follow to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, for the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dennis’ memory to the charity of your choice. Please refrain from sending lilies.
