Diane Marie Gorman

Diane Gorman, 78, of Crystal Lake, died May 31 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington. She was born July 31, 1944 in Chicago to Herman and Alvina (nee Schoon) Rode. She married John Gorman on May 23, 1970 in Skokie.

Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Jill (Roger) Gates of Woodstock, and Brian (Alison) Gorman of Golden, CO; her grandchildren, Shannon and Sean Gorman; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband John; and her brother Kenneth.

The funeral service will be at 11 am on Monday June 5 at Zion Lutheran Church, 412 Jackson St, Marengo. Pastor Jonathan Ripke will officiate. Visitation will be in the church at 10 am until the service. Interment will be at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.

We are thankful to those who cared, loved, and supported her in the past years, months, and hours. This caregiver with a gentle heart will be missed.
