Diane Marcano

Diane Marcano, 50, of Ingleside passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 21, 2020. She was born on June 13, 1970 in Chicago, IL to Jose and Maria Marcano.

Diane enjoyed camping and fireside gatherings with friends and family.  She was an accomplished baker and also enjoyed cooking.

Come springtime you could find Diane planting, caring for, and constantly arranging her collection of flowers and plants around her home and yard.

Socially, Diane's affable manner and generous spirit gave her a charismatic charm that people were naturally drawn to.  She could always be found giving comfort, hope, or aid to anybody in distress.  Diane was the epitome of a best friend that we all strive to become but seldom achieve.

Diane will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Allen S. Mahler; son Juan Dario Marcano; her mother, Maria E. Marcano; sisters, Aracelis (Kenneth) Loveday and Maria D. Castillo.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial gathering will be, Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 10 AM until the 12 Noon Celebration of Life service at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment will be private.
