Dianna Poulos, age 44, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois. She will be remembered for her compassion, her dedication to helping others, and the deep love she shared with her family, friends, and the many lives she touched through her work.
Dianna was a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who spent her career working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Her passion for helping children and supporting families guided her professional path and inspired the work she did each day.
She received a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dianna spent her career supporting children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities, dedicating herself to helping them grow and succeed.
Recognizing the growing need for effective, individualized, and affordable support for families, Dianna created her own practice, Impacting Autism. Through her work, she provided in-home services for families with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities. Dianna was deeply committed to helping the children she served develop meaningful skills while supporting and empowering their families.
Dianna approached her work with patience, empathy, and dedication, making a lasting impact on everyone she worked with. For her, this work was more than a profession—it was a calling rooted in kindness and a genuine desire to help others thrive.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dianna was known for her warm spirit and caring heart. She had a natural ability to make people feel welcome and valued, and she treasured the time she spent with her loved ones. Her family and friends were the center of her life, and the bonds she shared with them were filled with love, support, and lasting memories.
Dianna is survived by her loving father, Peter Poulos; her mother, Marilyn Bisceglie; her sister, Christina Poulos; her brother-in-law, Peter McWain; and her beloved niece, Aria McWain. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though her life was far too short, Dianna’s compassion, generosity, and unwavering dedication to others will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of kindness and service will not be forgotten.
A Celebration od Dianna's Life will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Mambo Italiano, 748 S Butterfield Road, Mundelein, IL 60060.
