Dolores "Dolly" Curran

Dolores “Dolly” Curran, 91, of North Barrington, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2020. She was born on January 8, 1929 in Chicago to Joseph and Martha Badenoch.

Dolly was a member of the Altar Guild at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Barrington. She was an avid golfer, but her true love was raising her family.

Dolly will be deeply missed by her children, Richard J. Jr. (Sharon) Curran, Randall (Mardi) Curran, and Dr. Ronald (Nancy) Curran; grandchildren, Kelley, Ryan (Salome), Katie, Megan, Molly (Mark), McKenzie (Jack), Erin (John) Timur , Bryan (Anjuli), Sean, Brett, and Matthew Curran; great-grandchildren, Bennett, Hugh, Seth and Bodhan; siblings, Barbara Bell and Jim (Sharon) Badenoch; and by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Richard in 2015; her sister, Mabel and her parents.

A private graveside service will be held. A celebration of Dolly’s life will be held at a later date.
