Donald L. Wolf Sr, a man of God, was born on October 23, 1944, in Summit, NJ, to George and Carol Wolf. He went to be with the Lord on October 20, 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted Christian, Don lived a life rooted in his faith, constantly sharing the message of God's love with all he met. His love for the Gospel, particularly the good news of John 3:16, was at the center of his witness, and he took great joy in spreading God's word.
While Don was a successful businessman, he always considered his greatest accomplishment to be his family. His children, their spouses, and his grandchildren all shared his love for Jesus, a legacy of faith that continues to impact lives. Don firmly believed that he had been richly blessed by God, and he saw it as his mission to share those blessings with others—whether through his testimony, his generosity, or his encouragement to live faithfully.
Even in his passing, Don continues his testimony, as the seeds of faith he planted in others continue to grow. His life reflected the Lord's love, and his family and friends are comforted knowing he is now in the presence of his Savior. His influence will carry on through those who follow in his faith.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Roseann; his children, Donald L. (Sherry) Wolf Jr., David (Melissa “Mo”) Wolf, Rebecca (Tom) Evans, DeAnn (Ryan) Dinelli; his grandchildren, Colton, Brooke, Jadon, Andrew, Marisa (Steven) Weddig, David Jr., Adam, Laura, Josh, Ashley, Tommy III, Tyler, Aly, RJ, Donavin, Emery, Mila; great-grandchildren, Arya, Aurora and Emelia Grace; his siblings, George (Linda), Gary (Tena) and Dan (Mary) Wolf; and by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2024 from 4 PM until 8 PM at First Church of Crystal Lake, 236 W. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
