Doris Butz

Doris Margaret Butz nee Bianchi, 84, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 22, 2010 in Elk Grove Village surrounded by all five of her loving children. Doris was born on July 16, 1925 in Chicago to Adelmo "Charlie" and Florence (nee Franchi) Bianchi. Her survivors include her children, Karol (the late Patrick) Hoggatt, Georgianne (Roger) Arquilla, Kenneth (Monique) Butz, Laura (Bill) Madey, and Terri (Tony) Flaim. She was the cherished grandmother of 13 and adored great grandmother of 5. She is also survived by a brother, Richard (Lisette) Bianchi and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Joseph George Butz, her parents, and a sister, Norma Damiano. The visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2010 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Monsignor Daniel Hermes will officiate. Interment will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery, Crystal Lake.
