Edith Alice Roberts
Born April 21, 1924 in Chicago to the late Bernard and Alice (nee Andreen) Ryan, Edith passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the age of 93.
Edith will be dearly missed by her daughters, Gayle (Richard) Manassa and Nancy (Scott) Avenarius; her granddaughters, April (Mike) Warren, Mara (Danny) Rhodes-Wallington, and Samantha Avenarius; and her great-grandchildren, Katelyn Parker, James Parker, Jr., Shawn Rhodes, Michael Warren, Jr., Corey Warren, and Madelynn Warren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Roberts; and her two siblings.
The visitation will be held Friday, November 24, 2017 from 4-9 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake. The funeral and burial will be held privately.
