Born Jan. 30, 1942 in Chicago to, she passed away Dec. 2, 2011 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
She was the beloved wife of John J. Golab, loving sister of Gregory J. (Maxine) Schaefer, dear aunt of Ben Schaefer and Amanda Schaefer Greene, and friend and Godmother to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ted and Jane (nee Kawa) Schaefer.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 10, 9:30a.m. until the Mass at 10a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela St, Barrington IL. Interment will be private.
