Elisabeth Gerich

Wonder Lake, Illinois,Elisabeth Gerich, 83, of Wonder Lake passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at her home. She was born January 20 1926 in Rakitovic, Croatia. She volunteered her time at Centegra Memorial Hospital in McHenry and was a very active member of Christ the King Church. Survivors include her sons, Joseph (Maria Edith) Klemm and Alfred A. (Sharee) Gerich; three grandchildren, Joseph M. (Jennifer) Klemm, Kristine M. Klemm, and Nicholas T. Gerich; three great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Julia and Jaclyn Klemm; and her brother Jakob (Rosina) Katzenberger. Preceding her in death was her husband, Mathias. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17 from 9 a.m. with the Mass following at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 5006 E Wonder Lake Rd, Wonder Lake. Interment in the church cemetery will be private.
