Emil Joseph Cindric

Emil Joseph Cindric, 68, of Prairie Grove, passed away on April 26, 2026.

He was born in Croatia on August 5, 1957, to Milivoj and Stefanija Cindric. On August 6, 1977, Emil married Nada Pintar at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Chicago.

Emil was a devoted and loving husband, dad, and Dida to his seven grandchildren. He was a committed business owner for more than 40 years and took great pride in his work, but his greatest joy was always his family.

He loved vacations, family dinners, and time spent together. Emil never missed a special event for his children or grandchildren. No matter the occasion, you could always find him in the stands, cheering them on and showing up with love and pride.

Emil is survived by his beloved wife, Nada; children, Michael (Ashlie) Cindric, Jason Cindric, Kristina (Tony) Ebel, Steve (Pilar) Cindric; and grandchildren, Addison, Oliver, Alaina, Emilia Ebel, Hudson and Eva Cindric, and Mateo Cindric.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milivoj and Stefanija Cindric.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, from 2pm until a service at 7:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
