Emily Bianchi

Emily Bianchi, 89, of Lake Barrington, died peacefully on June 13, 2026, with her family by her side.

Emily was born in Chicago on July 30, 1936, to parents Rocco Joseph and Anne (nee Trumfio) DeGrasse. She married Sam Bianchi on April 28, 1956, and the couple celebrated their 70th anniversary earlier this year.

Emily is survived by her beloved husband, Sam Bianchi, her children, Raymond (Christine) Bianchi, Roxanne (Dell) Bliss, Joe (Adrianna) Bianchi, and Lisa (Michael) Robinson, her grandchildren, Chad (Sunny) Grimm, Nina (Matt) Crites, Joseph Bianchi, Mia (Glenn) Busard, Antonio (Lauren) Bianchi, Guerino (Joscelyne) Ciarroni, Bianca (Trevor) Ciarroni, Cecsily Bianchi, Alexander Bianchi, William (Jeanette) Robinson, Sam (Alina) Robinson, Tona (Dave) Anderson, and Michael (fiancé Hannah) Robinson, and her great-grandchildren, Bode, Ozzy, Luca, Stefano, Bear Douglas, Milo, Rylie, Violet, and Colton.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Julius (Jean) DeGrasse.

Visitation will be Friday, June 19, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to time of Mass 10:30 a.m. all at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.

Entombment to follow Mass at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
