Frances Edna Parker

Frances E. Parker, 92, of Encore Village in Schaumburg, Illinois, passed away peacefully after a courageous 12-year battle with complications from Parkinson’s disease.

Fran is survived by her three devoted sons: George, John and his wife Heather, and David and his wife Tracy; her four cherished grandchildren: Nicholaus, Michaela, Sarah, and Daniel; and one beloved great-grandchild, Amelia. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family meant the world to her.

For twenty-five years, Fran was a dedicated and beloved schoolteacher, known for her patience, kindness, and commitment to shaping young minds. She was active in several churches throughout her life, drawing strength, purpose, and community from her faith. She also had a deep passion for travel, exploring the world with enthusiasm, creating countless cherished memories along the way.

In accordance with her wishes, the family will celebrate her life privately and reflect on the time shared with her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research

Please keep Fran and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this time. Her warmth, strength, faith, adventurous spirit, teaching legacy, and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
